Developed as a final project for the typography module of EBAC's Graphic Design Profession course, this project presents an innovative specimen for the Arlette font, created by Typetogether studio.
The specimen explores the various application possibilities of this versatile font, which encompasses both Latin and Thai alphabets, standing out for its creative incorporation of visual elements inspired by Thai culture.
The visual project uses the font's own glyphs as page ornaments, alluding to Thai lanterns, and employs a color palette that blends vibrant and pastel tones, creating a dynamic visual balance. The layout reflects both Western and Eastern influences, demonstrating the importance of creative and culturally sensitive typographic presentation.
This specimen illustrates how a font can be used to create visually impactful communications that transcend linguistic and cultural barriers, exploring the potential of typography as a tool for global connection.
